Zionsville Brick Street Market....MadrinDesigns' Last Event in Indiana!!

The time has finally come...our last event of 2011 in Indiana! The big move to California is only 2.5 weeks away and the countdown has begun!

This Saturday, May 14, 2011, is the famous Zionsville Brick Street Market (formerly Country Market) on the cobblestone streets of downtown Zionsville. This will be my 3rd year at this event and I couldn't be more excited that I'm finishing my time here with this one.

No matter who's on your shopping list, you will find something unique and special at the Brick Street Market. I have several friends doing the event again this year including: Two Seaside Babes and Time & Again Pillowcase Dresses and Aprons to name a couple. Make sure to visit these two booths for some cutie cute stuff for your little ones!

The Market starts at 10 am on Saturday and is open until 5 pm. Please come, rain or shine! You can stay dry b/c we're all under giant white tents (just wear the raincoat to get to and from your car). And make sure to snap up some fabulous and fun jewelry or hair accessories from your fave vendor, MadrinDesigns!!

Good Weekend!

Well, my first two art fairs/craft shows went very well this weekend! We sold lots of photographs and jewelry. We did better than I expected. My wonderful assistant, my mom, was with me both days. She is invaluable! She's definitely my promoter/salesperson! The rain held, but the wind did not!! We were blown around for 2 days, as was our booth and display items. Both days we ended up putting the photograph easels and jewelry displays back in the car. They fell over about every 15 minutes because of the strong gusts! If you've looked at MadrinDesigns lately, you'll notice how many different pieces are missing, which means I have to get to work. I got lots of really fabulous feedback and am looking forward to my next show!
